My goal for my Community Action Plan is to create a volunteer-based group of ‘green-oriented’ people to spend time working in the various community gardens, farms, and green spaces in my neighborhood of Bushwick in Brooklyn. The “Bushwick Green Team” will share in a vision of a greener, more biophilic Bushwick. An organization of this nature appears to have tried integrate itself in the community several years ago but with no success due to poor planning and advertising.
