Reducing Plastic Use at Georgetown University

My Action plan aims to reduce plastic use and waste at Georgetown University by working with the student-run organization The Corp. This will be done through producing and distributing reusable plastic containers at the beginning of the school year and providing incentives for BYOC (bring your own cup) and additional charges for using disposable plastic containers. The reduction of the use of plastic cups and bowls will reduce inventory cost for the Corp as well as reduce the amount of disposable plastic we are sending to landfills.
